Located in 13th arrondissement, this hotel is on a major highway and not near the city center. BUT, on other side of highway is huge "China Town" area with excellent cafes and stores/markets. Near the hotel is a charming neighborhood area with historic windmill that has recently been improved with fountains and outdoor seating. Metro lines are about 5 min. walk and you are in city center in 15 min. As with any hotel I've visited in France, the staff can't be called charming. However, all were helpful and the property is well managed. They seem to do a lot of business with large groups. There is a bar and a breakfast area. Rooms were decent and clean. We paid about 25% of the price of hotels in city center, so consider this property an excellent value.

Overall, this hotel was nothing special, I came with a large group of people and they all felt the same. The surroundings of the hotel was like a building site and there was pollution everywhere I looked. It took ages to be told which room we were in which I found rude, especially when they knew we had a 7 hour coach journey to get there. When we finally got to our rooms, in every bathroom the shower was covered in hairs, which is extremely disgusting as I'm sure most people will agree. At night, the receptionists would constantly complain about the noise we were making, even when we were just walking across the corridor. On the second night, people who we didn't know that were clearly overly drunk, we're shouting along the corridor and knocking on all of our doors and then when we complained they didn't believe us. The meat in the hotel's resturant was pink, and 2 of the people I was there with got food poisoning, also most of the food was cold. There were a few nice things about the hotel aswell, like the staff in the hotels restaurant were absolutely lovely! The man that served us was making jokes and checking every now and again if we were ok, and the food came as quick as a flash. Other than the hairs in the room, the hotel was quite clean, the rooms were cramped but acceptable, but I probably wouldn't stay there again and I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

We use this hotel every time we travel for work - brining senior high school students to Europe conducting site studies for History. The appointments are very good and the value for money is excellent. Breakfast is great and the location close to the Metro is very convenient. Local restaurants (good variety) just around the corner also make this a very good place to stay with groups.

The hotel's receptionists were EXTREMELY helpful and accommodating. Upon my arrival I had to change the number of nights I would stay at the hotel, and the staff was very helpful and patient with me!!
The location is not bad: about 15 minutes on the metro from the center and about 10 minute walk from station to the hotel. I was alone and did not go out during night time, but the area felt pretty safe during the day.
The room was clean and nice.
