advertise photo totally different it looks nothing like the the big glass building it a little block of flats. you have to pay a STAY TAX in which the person takes your all your CARD DETAILS which i wasnt happy with cause if i didnt do it we COULDNT STAY which is really weird cause i already paid in full through an agent. the walls were so thin you can hear everything that was going on in the rooms around you. we was suppose to stay for 5 nights but PAID EXTRA TO FLY BACK HOME on the second night because there where people having really noisey sex both nights we was there. we complained to manager three times and did nothing but shout at us to keep the noise down. he also said this in is own words because it a cheap hotel you get dirty people staying here if you know what i mean (SEX WORKERS). we had NO WARDROBES OR DRAWS for our clothes so we had to live out of our suitcase. the hotel is no where near the center or for sight seeing. when leaving the hotel the manager would not give back my card details so ive had to cancel my card so he couldnt get no money out of it.

I read reviews before booking this hotel and a few of them said it was close to a Metro stop. Wrong! It's close to an RER stop which we found out the hard way, requires a different ticket than the Metro. To get to the Metro, you need to walk 15 minutes towards the actual center of La Defense and then it's a long ride into Paris.

The hotel itself was clean and well kept. Our room was TINY with an even smaller bathroom. It was very difficult to shower and get ready in such a small space. There wasn't much room to move around- the bed took up most of the space and there was a desk as well.

Within the first 5 minutes of being in the room, we discovered we were located at the back of the hotel where a train passed by every few minutes including all hours of the night. There isn't air conditioning, so we had to keep the windows open, making it difficult to sleep through the noise.

If I had to do it all over again, I would've paid more money to stay within Paris.

Paris is an expensive city to visit at the best of times, but for a winter trip I expected more for the price I paid, especially considering that the hotel is not conveniently located in the central zone. The room was basic, extremely small and the bathroom was the tiniest I have ever seen. It was clean, but really tiny. Breakfast was nothing to write home about as is the norm in France with a basic coffee & croissant.

I have stayed in Paris in winter in larger, better priced hotels in and around La Republique so needless to say I am disappointed with the fact that I didnt get value for money as I could very well have stayed in the city for the same price.

Getting to the hotel on the RER is reasonable as la Grande Arch is only a couple of stops away from Etoile and Chatelet les Halles, which was a reason I considered it. However, la Grande Arch de la Defense is deserted at night, which makes the 15 min walk back to the hotel rather eerie.

I'm not sure if the hotel offers a free parking service. For travellers who have a car, and want to leave it outside the chaotic central Parisien arrondisements, then the area could be considered, else you might as well just stay in the city

I am a professional travel agent and I just came back from Paris with my boyfriend. We chose this hotel because of the price and we were not even close to disappointing.
I don't really understand those people, who are complaining that the hotel is far. Yes, that is right. You have to walk no more than 10 minutes from the metro station, but once if someone opens up a Paris map, can see that the public transportation is above the expectations.
The hotel is clean, the room is clean and nice, freshley painted. Yes, we could not dance tango in the room, but who is that person who wants to stay in his/her hotel room in Paris instead of going around in the city???
The breakfast was okay, i don't know other people what expected from a 2* hotel? Probably buffet style. The breads were fresh and more than enough to start a day. (Anyway, there is a boucherie on the corner if someone stays hungry).
The conclusion is....the price was okay and the hotel itself is more than okay. The staff was normal, the area is not noisy, we could not here the trains, and the hotel is nice inside too.
I would stay again.
