while im the first one to say, if you wanna be cheap dont expect luxury...i do expect that the staff would at least be friendly. its set quite a lonley distance from the station which made walking to the hotel at night feel a little dodgy.

we got a train line facing room, and with the heat and lack of aircon, had to sleep with the windows open.

there apparently "is" internet- but we could never log on, and a million excuses were given as to why.
had to make use of the free wifi at the mc donalds down the road

the life is terribly small, and quite antique looking- which i found to be quite cute and i loved it...but its something to note before going as you might have to drag big bags up the stairs in stead, no porters mean that becomes your baby.....

its decent for the price you pay...but im sure we could have found similar hotels closer to the paris city centre,

the road facing rooms (i sneaked a peak) are much better, and bigger, with full bathrooms, and nicer views...so if you have extra cash maybe opt for those rooms....

Stayed here in Jan 2011 for a business trip.. Thankfully it was for 1 night..

Arrived late and in the usual dismissive way of the French I was given a key and told where to go.. If you are afraid of very small spaces do not use the elevator..

Got to my room.. The whole place stunk of paint!! I could have complained but it was late and I didn't want to try to make myself understood ( my French is very limited).

Went to the bathroom, it was so small I couldn't even sit on the toilet without hitting my head on the sink!! Oh and I weigh about 11st I'm not a big guy!

Didn't hang about for breakfast just wanted to be out of there asap! The one good thing was the bad was nice and comfortable.

Ok for a quickie business trip. Not much else

advertise photo totally different it looks nothing like the the big glass building it a little block of flats. you have to pay a STAY TAX in which the person takes your all your CARD DETAILS which i wasnt happy with cause if i didnt do it we COULDNT STAY which is really weird cause i already paid in full through an agent. the walls were so thin you can hear everything that was going on in the rooms around you. we was suppose to stay for 5 nights but PAID EXTRA TO FLY BACK HOME on the second night because there where people having really noisey sex both nights we was there. we complained to manager three times and did nothing but shout at us to keep the noise down. he also said this in is own words because it a cheap hotel you get dirty people staying here if you know what i mean (SEX WORKERS). we had NO WARDROBES OR DRAWS for our clothes so we had to live out of our suitcase. the hotel is no where near the center or for sight seeing. when leaving the hotel the manager would not give back my card details so ive had to cancel my card so he couldnt get no money out of it.

I read reviews before booking this hotel and a few of them said it was close to a Metro stop. Wrong! It's close to an RER stop which we found out the hard way, requires a different ticket than the Metro. To get to the Metro, you need to walk 15 minutes towards the actual center of La Defense and then it's a long ride into Paris.

The hotel itself was clean and well kept. Our room was TINY with an even smaller bathroom. It was very difficult to shower and get ready in such a small space. There wasn't much room to move around- the bed took up most of the space and there was a desk as well.

Within the first 5 minutes of being in the room, we discovered we were located at the back of the hotel where a train passed by every few minutes including all hours of the night. There isn't air conditioning, so we had to keep the windows open, making it difficult to sleep through the noise.

If I had to do it all over again, I would've paid more money to stay within Paris.
