... you want to stay in Paris without paying too much, don't care that you're a 20 minute metro ride outside of town and get a clean but basic place.
I stayed there for two nights while attending a conference at CNIT in the business / shopping district La Defense. This hotel was the only one close to the conference center (a five minute walk, the metro to paris city center also leaves from there) and within the price range my company would pay. The room was clean with comfy enough bed with clean sheets (so not to worry about bed bugs, as in other "cheap" Paris hotels). As you can also book rooms for weekly rates, the room had a little kitchenette. All in all the room was basic, but had a little balcony to sit on.
The hotel itself is not one of the top notch places, the lobby stank of rubbish and in the elevator parts of the mirror were missing, nevertheless the staff at check-in was friendly enough and helped me out with a map of Paris and some information where to go - all that in good english.
All that being said, I would never pay a 100,- EUR in another city for a place like that. For Paris that is one of the cheaper places where you actually get a clean room.
If you have to do business or a conference at the close La Defense and are on a budget, or just want to spend a few days in Paris and don't mind having to take the Metro to go into town, the place is a good choice. The area around it is a quiet and safe neighborhood, with a McDonalds, Subway and little supermarkets close by.
