My 10th floor studio apartment was very pleasant, I had a nice view. I was especially happy to find that the neighborhood was very calm during day and night. Courbevoie shops are a 2 minute walk away; Auchan hypermart is a 10 minute walk away at La Defense; self-service laundry is 5 minute walk away. The price is very reasonable, but it is a basic self-catering apartment with clearing 1x a week, and what service there was at the front desk was variable in quality. Internet access was good. The commute into Paris was not a problem because La Defense is on Metro line 1 and counts as Zone 2 for Navigo card. The swimming pool in basement was closed. NB this hotel is in Courbevoie, not in Paris, I don't know why Tripadvisor can't correct the listing.

Hotel is nice and clean,great area, just 20 min walk from Paris centre,we never used the bus or metro,just walk.
Staff nice and friendly,speaking english well.

I got a good deal on this hotel, and I decided to try it out even though it seemed to be situated a bit far away from the center of Paris. And that is true - it is situated a bit far out in a business are with lots of tall buildings and not a lot of French cosiness.

However, that isn't really a problem because the metro is just a 10 min walk from the hotel, and it takes you to for instance the Arc of Triumphe in 10 minutes, so you can easily get to experience all the wonderful things that Paris has to offer :-) The metro line going to La Defense (nr. 1) is a good one because it stops at several of the major attractions in Paris, so you don't even have to switch train.

The hotel room was very clean, quiet and comfortable, and I really enjoyed the kitchenette with my own fridge etc.
I booked and paid for a single room but got a double room, so that was nice. A 3 min walk from the hotel there's a supermarket and a McDonald's. Just ask for it in the reception. The staff wasn't exactly chatty and happy-clappy, but their English was good and they were able to help me with a new plug since I had forgot to bring my adapter for my laptop.
Oh, and speaking of the laptop - their free internet is excellent! It worked perfectly all the time, and I really enjoyed that.

You should also check out the huge shopping mall "Les Quatre Temps", which is situated right at the metro station La Defense. Actually you can walk directly from the metro to the mall. They have lots of shops and lots of places to eat - and a cinema with English movies.

All in all the hotel is not a cosy typical French place to stay, but if you get a good deal, then it's definitely worth trying it out because even though it's a bit far away, you can easily get anywhere quickly. I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel and I could easily be going back next time I get to Paris :-)

What a place if La Defence is one of the places you are up to in Paris. Superbly located just a 5 minutes easy walk from Grande Arche, its unbelievably good. The room is reasonably spacious and you will even get a terrace. And, on a plus side, receptionists speaks english perfectly (what a change to so called information kiosk at CDG Airport at the same place).
My room was clean enough but the bathroom doors were full of scratches (maybe they had a very nervous previous guest in there, table lamp did not work and so not the safebox. I was only there for a night and was quite tired to ask for corrections, and I had a good and safe sleep. I would say for what I got the price reduced for weekends was quite good, for weekdays 100+ euros would be a little too much, but to me this hotel is recommendable anyway...
