Like many after reading reviews of this hotel I was dreading staying here as part of a coach trip but it did exactly what it said on the tin - offered cheap, comfortable accommodation with decent internal amentities.

First the negatives - the hotel is not in the most desirable area, I went out on a Monday morning and didn't feel overly comfortable, I would suggest staying in the room or heading into Paris in the evening. Heading into Paris is however difficult as you are quiet for outside the core of the city - we were lucky as on an organised trip but could imagine taking public transport would waste a lot of time. For the hotel the major downside is there is only 1 lift which is very slow but able people with light bags will not struggle with the 4 floors of stairs.

Positives - comfortable room with enough space for 2 plus weekend luggage. A decent bathroom with towels and soaps and the room also came with coffee and tea replenished everyday. The breakfast was very nice and a good start to the day and the evening meal (we paid around £30 for 2 with drinks) was well worth the money. The staff were friendly and accommodating at all times (although during the very rushed breakfast they lose a bit of cool).

Overall this is fine if you can spend the time travelling into Paris but I would suggest staying nearer if you want to make the most out of a short weekend.

we were worried after reading previous reviews but the hotel was ok .we were staying there as part of a coach trip for the tour de france.our room was clean ,if basic yes there was a little bit of mould arround grouting on bath but this was only gripe with room .because we arrived late we ate in hotel first night .food ok nothing special and a bit expensive .breakfast was however very good none of the problems prev reviews mentioned tables cleaned and food replaced quickly.a good choice of croissants bread cheese and fruit and lovely yougarts.getting into paris no problem go out of hotel turn left and walk to main road .cross over and take no161 to la defance then metro to were ever quick and easy and cheep.i would go back as a cheapbase to stay in paris but you wouldent want to spend much time in the hotel or surrouding area.visit muse de orsay for impressionist art it is beautiful and not too big ,also if you get a chance to see the tour de france its amazing take chairs though .

There is nothing wrong with this hotel. I have stayed in some really nasty hotels in Paris and this was by far one of the best!!! Our room was really clean, the beds were comfy and it only has four floors so it doesn't get too hot!! There is air conditioning anyway! The food in the hotel restaurant was great, evenings and breakfast were both brilliant. The staff were really helpful when it came to asking directions for getting into the centre. It is a bit of a trek but it was easy. The area is not particularly nice but the bus stop was only a five minute walk away so its not far! The easiest way to get into the centre from here was to get the number 161 bus from near the hotel to La Defense, and then the metro from here to wherever you wish to go. It was cheap and straightforward. Overall I had a lovely trip!

SIMPLY Dont go ! This hotel is a joke. We have travelled far and wide and have never encountered anything like this Hotel. For a start the lift is an accident waiting to happen, the Staff could not be more disinterested in their Guests, On our visit to the Dining Room there was very little food, no cutlery, cups, glasses nor plates i had to eat my Breakfast Cereal with a Teaspoon. Every table in the Restaurant and the Garden were full of Dirty Dishes, One of our Coach Party had to clear a table in the garden and clean it just for her and her husband to be able to sit down. The hotel smelled of Stale Cigarette Smoke and the area is definately un-desirable on a stroll out we quickly returned as we definately did not feel safe. Paris France on the whole is a lovely city, we have visited there on two previous occasions and will visit again but definatelyy not in this Horrendous Hotel and Equally Horrendous Area.
