“Fine if there's nowhere else to go...”

We were let down by the Etap Hotel who, on our arrival at 11pm couldn't find our reservation confirmed twice that day so ended up at the nearest place with rooms, the F1

What's good about it? It's cheap and spotless

What's not good? Loos and showers at the end of a corridor and no dressing gown meaning you have to get dressesd if you get up in the night. Towels the thickness of a bedsheet, the size of a tea towel (oh and one between two). Thin bed sheets and no heating and finally, a Spartan breakfast

In summary don't use if you want anything more than a place to rest your head!

A pleasant stay that was good value for money. Not perfect, but not half bad!

“Cheap and cheerful”

Perfect location for a stopover, as it is only minutes from the motorway. If all you need is a few hours sleep, with little on the luxury front, then this is for you. No frills, reasonably comfy beds, no bathrooms (but toilet and showers just along the corridor) but does have a washbasin and TV. Walking distance to a pretty good restaurant (there is one next door, but it was closed) and ideally located for the long distance traveller. We were a party of 9 and had travelled from southern Germany, so it is a great stop off point, leaving only a few hours to Calais the next day. Breakfast also good value and quite reasonable.....bread, jam, toast and cereals with unlimited tea/ coffee. Don't expect anything special, but at the price you pay it is terrific value. Only one complaint.....the tiolets and showers next to our room were being cleaned with a high pressure hosepipe.........at 3am in the morning!! Other than this, no complaints and well recommended.
