My husband and I have stayed there, my brother, his wife and son have stayed there and close friends have stayed there and we all agree that a night at the Hotel Le Paris Nice with dinner in their dinning room is well worth the visit. As others have said the rooms are small but comfortable, clean and with recently renovated bathrooms. The staff at the hotel are exceptionally pleasant and some speak English. It's not too far to walk in to explore the attractive old town and as we were there on Saturday we wandered and did some food shopping at the colourful market. We had a front room but didn't notice that it was noisy. The real highlight is the hotel restaurant which has a good menu and excellent food. However, the locals know this too so it was very busy and you need to book. It is a short distance off the A6 and we stayed there after a day meandering north from Chalon through towns in Burgundy . We wanted to stop before taking on Paris roads and traffic, car rental return ,finding our accommodation and a quick trip to Fontainbleau the next day. It is also a good place for a break after leaving Paris on the A6 following a morning arrival by train or plane, organising car hire and getting out of the city. If accommodation in a well run French family hotel is what you are looking for this is an excellent choice.
