Quite a nice 2* hotel with charming rooms.
It's a pleasure to take the breakfast outside in the garden.
However you need to leave the room before 11am on the day of your departure. Too bad...

A very nice, freindly hotel. The village of Chagny is very nice with a central square close to hotel.

We had an overnight stop at the hotel in August 2003 and promised to return. We've booked again for an overnight stop in July this year. We had a family room which was large enough for two double beds and had an adjoining bathroom. The bedroom contained beautiful french furniture. There's an excellent restaurant directly opposite the hotel where we sat outside to eat. The next morning we were served breakfast in the gorgeous garden, which was full of fruit trees and herbs. We were offered a selection of jams, bread, croissants (the usual french breakfast!) and the children loved the hot chocolate. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant although the lady who checked us in on arrival only spoke a few words of Enlgish but with my limited French, we got by! Can't wait to return - I can smell the coffee already!
