Quiberon is a lively resort in August and if that suits the hotel is centrally located. The downside is it is noisy. Most evenings there'll be pledges of undying love, or a row, at any time up to 2 am. One side face a nightclub, the other a restaurant, which also means early morning deliveries. It's on a one way system and there's no parking-some public parking (sometimes payable) within 200m. Reception was friendly enough and rooms clean and adequate. However, the restaurant is to be avoided. We were on an inclusive package, which means you get one starter and one main course, no choice. The A La Carte menus is lacklustre. Service was offhand (eg asking for a glass of house wine at 9.30 pm took 20 minutes to arrive). We didn't bother eating there again. However, there are many good restaurants nearby. Maison Michel Lucas, 11 Quai Ocean is outstanding. He owns the fishmonger in the same block, which tells you all you need to know. Whatever has been caught that day is on the blackboard-beautifully cooked fresh fish. Viviez on the Cote Sauvage just outside town, has a fantastic position and view and great shellfish
