We reserved ar Ker Noyal based on Trip Advisor # 1 rating in Quiberon. This was a mistake. The best thing about Ker Noyal is their website. The hotel is not on the beach but about 500 feet from the beach and separated by at least 3 rows of houses. We paid 10 Euros extra to get an ocean view. It just gets you to climb an additional flight of stairs with your suitcase (no elevator) and a glimpse at the water between buildings. The hotel has no air conditioning. Some rooms are large and some other like ours are small but as charged the same high price. As I asked why we had been assigned a small room, the owner or manager, a sort of left over hippy started yelling at me. Finally the hotel is far away from the city center (10 minutes walk)

Was going to book Sofitel after staying there before. But the bad reviews put me off so I booked the nbr 1 on tripadvisor.....mistake...
Clean large rooms with new bedroomfurniture but 60 ish patterned carpets/doors/collouredbathrooms were not updated. All clean but the old doors slammed and woke us up. No a/c and rooms facing south with shutters no awnings. Had fantastic weather so the shutters were down and room hot.
Sofitel overpriced but in june and september you get 4 nights for the price of 3 and so is a better choice with the lovely large indoor swimmingpool and no road facing the hotel. Had a good stay at the ker noyal but it does not merit a nbr 1 on tripadvisor.

Very good hotel, quiet and convenient. Very much warm reception and the friendly personnel. Very spacious rooms. Very well located (close downtown and a beach)
