As a single, Australian traveller without a car, I desperately needed somewhere quiet to stay after a couple of disasters. The bus driver dropped me off at the driveway and the owner was so very welcoming, even offering to give me a lift into Benodet (3.5 km) and drop me off with my luggage the following day. It's an easy walk, by the way, although it's a good idea to dine in Benodet if you don't have a car. The owner really works hard to give her personal attention to every guest. The breakfast is probably one of the best I've had in France, with "bio" breads and even a device that allows you to boil your eggs for the ideal length of time. Each room is different; mine had fairy lights around the bedhead and was decorated in the same green as the limetree outside. Beautiful gardens.
