The hotel was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The rooms were fine and the aircon was great. The restaurant however was overpriced and there was much better value to be had in the town which was a ten minute walk away.

We reserved a table in the restaurant and received confirmation by e-mail this had been done. On the night we were advised that there was not a table available as 2 large groups were now occupying the restaurant.
We were offered to eat in the bar or outside. We were not prepaired to eat in the bar and settled to eat outside even though it was a chilly evening.
When we complained in the morning to the Manager she was not interested that the Hotel had not honoured their obligation and her attitude was not customer focused.
I would not recommend this hotel as they do not meet their obligation to their customers.

I made reservations for two rooms in April 2005 for a stay in September 2005. In July 2005 I cancelled the reservations due to changes in my travel plans. I sent them a cancellation request twice just to be safe. Imagine my surprise when they billed my credit card for $196.59 on September 15th. I contacted them regarding a reversal of the charges and even sent them copies of my cancellation requests. They refused to refund me and quit corresponding to my requests for a response. This is unacceptable behavior for any hotel or B&B. If you book a stay and try to cancel...beware!

Visited this hotel for a weekend in August, with 4 children. The location is good and the town worth exploring. The hotel, described as "resolutely modern", consists of a single building. The rooms are small and costly for what is on offer. Apart from this imbalance, the hotel is clean and the rooms well airconditioned, although the overall impression is that the hotel is too hot. The pool is of a reasonable size and there is sufficient room to sub-bathe around it. The breakfast was reasonable. I had the impression that the restaurant was short staffed. The food was of a good quality and priced correctly. One had the feeling that one might have found better value, but not, unfortunately, in the town.
