just an ordinary hotel dining room set out looks amazing sadely we only had to stop over for the night so we didnt get to share any of that experiences but the rooms were pretty good size for paris as they can normally be quite small and bathrooms were clean!

We were booked here for a Friday night and showed up to find out that they had us booked for the previous night. They ended up charging us for the first night and a reduced price for the second night, but this situation left us with a bad taste in our mouths about this hotel. It was a basic enough place with a restraunt with a solid breakfast and pretty good food otherwise. We just stayed here for easy access to the train to Paris.

This was one of the worst experiences that I have had at a hotel. In the beginning of the stay, it wasn't that bad. I thought the foam bed wasn't too bad to deal with and then I thought the room itself wasn't that bad. I was really expecting the worse but during the first two days I thought it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be ... until the last day ...

We returned from our outings that day and then we found ants all over the room ... crawling all along the walls and in the bathroom. It was late at night when we got back so there was no one at the reception desk as it was closed. I was so uneasy that night I couldn't sleep.

The next morning when we checked out we told the front desk about the ants and they had told us "You should've called us to let us know and we would've come to spray the room, that room is known to have an ant problem" ... why would they give us this room in the first place? And then knowing that they had it sprayed probably each day before we came back ... I just felt so uncomfortable about the whole situation.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. Even if you're on a budget. I'm sure you can find bed & breakfast inns or any other place around the same price range and would have a better experience. And it was still expensive around 70 euros a night ... I would've rather paid 50-60 euros for a bed & breakfast which at least includes breakfast!
