Beautiful hotel with an indoor heated pool, fast lifts, great staff, good breakfast, and a really interesting walled city with lots to see. No dining room, but walking distance to really good restaurants

The room was nice enough and the pool, garden area lovely. I recommend you stay in town, rather than up the street. The room, on the courtyard, which they said was quiet was loud from the street. When you go all the way across France, you'd like not to hear cars all night.
The Wifi didn`t work and the breakfast was just ok. When there was confusion about breakfast being included (which we negociated when we called), the staff was rude and made a not nice comment about Americans. (note that my boyfriend and I between us speak fluent French).
There are better places in Sarlat. The pool and garden are lovely. But the rooms are not charming in any special way.

This is our second stay at this hotel (last one was 6 years ago) Immaculate and very welcoming staff- were expecting us and explained how to reach underground parking- which we booked as we were doing a tour and wanted to leave some things in the car-added advantage was when we left car was lovely and cool-lounge area bright and spacious; pool and garden worth their weight in gold after a day in Sarlat in what can be very high temperatures. Breakfast plentiful and welcoming staff. Would stay again- one slight disappointment is the quality of the rooms- basic but again very clean. The 5 minute walk to the cite is easy and the choice of restaurants huge-

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights and used it as a base to explore Dordogne. Booked directly through the hotel. The hotel in an easy 10min walk to Sarlat centre. The location (a bit outside the centre) is an adavantage if you plan to do several day trips, as it is easy to drive in an out and there is easy free parking just outside the hotel. The hotel is a modern, 3 star type. We stayed in a double room which face a back street,. The room was clean and quiet, although a bit small. I think there are better rooms with balconies facing the garden. We did not bother having breakfast at the hotel as there is so many places nice squares in town to go for breakfast. Overall I thought the hotel was ok, but nothing special. Loved Dordogne. Sarlat is a pretty medieval town and if you like good food you'll be spoiled with choices. There are lots of things to do in the area. We went canoeing on the river one day, on a hot air baloon another, visited several very nice towns in the area, and of course also visited the caves. Saturday market in Sarlat was fantastic.
