We had a wonderful stay at La Faysselle. Judy and Tom were the perfect hosts - so warm and welcoming we felt we'd known them for ages. Nothing was too much trouble and we all felt really 'at home'. The setting is quiet and tranquil - perfect for young children as they can't get into trouble. Coming from Australia, we really appreciated the fact that the gite was well-stocked with all the basics (and more) so we didn't have to 'shop from scratch'. We stayed in Soleil Couchant which we loved - it is cosy and rustic with the most gorgeous terrace looking out over beautiful gardens - perfect for meals outside. The pool setting is stunning too - ideal for relaxing with a good book. Our son George was thrilled that Lizzie and Bingley (Judy & Tom's dogs) were so friendly and adopted us during our stay. We wish we could have stayed for three weeks instead of two and would love to go back. We can't recommend it highly enough.

The gites were very well equipped and immaculately clean, as was the pool and terrace. We had a lovely, lazy and relaxing time, rarely going further than local towns and villages for a spot of tourism, lunch, dinner or shopping. Owners Judy and Tom couldn't do enough for their guests, and Lizzie and Bingley, their retrievers, made themselves at home on our patio - possibly because they thought we might be missing our dogs (also retrievers) but more likely because we always asked for doggy bags when we went out to eat! The location is very rural and a few miles from amenities, especially when all the local shops decided to close for their holidays at the same time! It didn't bother us at all but some may find it less convenient. We are regualr visitors to France and Faysselle is certainly one of the best gites we have stayed in - we hope to return soon.

We have stayed in Tom and Judy's Gites for a number of years and are never disappointed. The Gite's are set in perfect settings amongst some beautiful and breathtaking scenery. It is the ideal place to unwind and relax. Judy and Tom's hospitality makes it the perfect holiday. Judy is an excellent cook and Tom is the perfect host.The Gite's are immaculate and have all the usual mod cons.
We have had many family holidays with the children and romantic beaks without. When the holiday comes to an end we never want to leave. We are already planning on returning very soon. They are very popular so we cannot leave it too long!

We thoroughly enjoyed our great escape and the holiday was made even more specially by the kind and thoughtful hosts Tom and Judy. They provided a cot, highchair, toys and amusements for our young son so we didn't need to carry any additional luggage with us.

We enjoyed a relaxing break together as a family with the added benefit of the advice and guidance of our generous hosts regarding local restaurants, markets and amenities. We look forward to returning next year!
