“Basic Novotel. Nothing fancy but some good points”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 November 2011

Stayed there one night in November 2011. The hotel seems to have been refurbished and offer comfortable rooms with flat screens TV nice big shower and separated toilet. Eventhough the stay was smooth, i found the hotel quite noisy as it seems that the new floors have been built over existing wooden floors. when people come and go in the hallways you hear them walk. This stops at around 9pm when they are fewer people in the restaurant, bar etc..
The staff was friendly and even offered for me to do a late check out at 3pm so i could leave my stuff in my room and pick it up on my way to the airport. I found this very helpful.
It is very easy to access very close to the highway, has ample parking spaces so the logistics of getting in and out of the hotel and on your way are very easy and convenient.
Also it is extremely close to a shopping center and quite a few restaurant so no need to eat at teh Novotel and its expensive hotel food but you can take your car drive 3 minutes and you have proper restaurants for half the price.
One last point, i noticed that the side and back of carpet around the sofa and some spots in the shower were not extremely clean, nothing disgusting but quite a bit of dust, a candywrap which was not mine and a little mould forming at te shower window. Enough to make you wander if the housekeeping staff's work is checked by managers.

“Family of Four”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 August 2011

Found the hotel easily and although it wasn't in a particularly scenic location it was quiet and offered plenty of parking. We effectively used Novatel because you know what you are going to get and this particular hotel didn't disappoint. Check in was very quick and only needed us to say our name before we were handed the key card, the room was a good size and well equipped, TV, tea/coffee making facilities, mini bar, well fitted and clean ensuite shower room. All very welcome after a ten hour drive. The restaurant also served nice meals with a kids menu and although not cheap, it was very good quality but still reasonably priced. A swimming pool was available which the kids used while we used the bar and sat on the patio at one of the many outside tables and chairs. Breakfast was excellent with everything you could possibly want. We paid 107 euros for the room and this included the breakfast for the 4 of us (I think it was free for the kids anyway though)

“Nothing more than OK”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 June 2011

Stayed for one night with family (two adults, one child). Did not expect any kind of luxury, but thought that it would be better than what we experienced. Wash basin did not work properly, very low English skills at reception, ice cold and not very inviting pool/other common areas. Bed OK, we slept well, but will not come back.

“good stopover - typical novotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 September 2009

We stopped here on the way to Italy. Our room was on the ground floor, It was a very hot day and the windows only opened slightly, the aircon in our room was broken. The decor in the room was tired to put it nicely , we paid extra for a superior room with ainshower and mini bar which really wasn't worth it. The children enjoyed the small pool, and the play area which had a selection of wooden building bricks. There was also an outside play area and free internet access for 30 mins. The restaurant was a cafe style and the choice of food wasn't brilliant. They did a yummy cooked breakfast with sausages, bacon and scramble egg as well as the typical buffet breakfast of yoghurts, bread etc. but it was expensive at 14 euros each. the hotel had wireless internet access through orange but it cost 4 euros for 1 hour or 10 euros for 3 hours.
