We stayed at Le Strasbourg for 2 nights.

On the good side: Center of town, easy to find! Room and bathroom had been renovated not to long ago and the number of TV channels OK.

The rooms were quite clean.

On the bad side: The bed was quite hard and voices from the hallway could be heard easily.

Not a place I would like to stay for more than a couple of nights but OK for 2 nights the price considered.

Avoid at any cost. Worse than motel. Dirty hole with minimum service.
Mold stink, non-existing internet. It doesn't even feel like hotel.

We booked a "family room" (chambre familiale) at this hotel which was more costly than a quadruple. Although we paid for a "family room", the room we got was labeled a quadruple and had the bare minimum.

We were also charged 7.50 each for breakfast and when I noticed a prominent sign that breakfast is 6 Euros I asked what more we were getting? The front counter woman responded that the price had increased some time ago but that they'd never bothered to change the sign, and that there is only one level of breakfast and everyone pays 7.50. It was a preposterous explanation since the 6 Euro sign itself was in large print at the front desk and it is inconceivable that they tell everyone "no, despite the huge sign you have to pay 7.50".

Mulhouse was very hot that day and the hotel said they had no fan for us to use. The room was stifling and we slept with the window open. We had a miserable, noisy night there.

Me with my father and step-sister were staying 5 nights in this hotel. There was pretty good time. The hotel location is nearby to all necessary conveniences like railway station (10-15 minutes walking), grocery store, restaurant, tram stop and so on. The Internet service was not good, but this is not a problem of hotel itself, of course. I recommend this hotel if you plan to go to visit Alsas area.
