Stayed 3 nights in a very large and comfortable room overlooking the little square. Easy walk from the train station and easy walk into the restaurant (try restaurant Hug) and shopping area. Huge bathroom, excellent bathroom heater needed for cold days, comfy beds and pillows, everything very clean. Excellent breakfast buffet. Strong wifi signal. Very kind and helpful staff. Mulhouse is a good location to visit Basel, just 20 minutes away. Interesting textile museum here and wallpaper museum in nearby Rixheim, taking local Solea bus #18 to Commanderie stop and walking five minutes.

Overall I was very satisfied with my weekend stay.

I chose this hotel for its competitive price and quite central location - close to the railway station and the city centre. Booked my stay on Best Western own website - booking process short and easy. I discovered a last-minute fare for a single room at 55EUR/night. Breakfast was optional - either 11EUR for a full breakfast buffet or 6EUR for a lighter continental breakfast.

Beware that rooms are available from 2pm only. Check-in was quick and I felt welcome - a big thumbs-up for the friendliness of the staff during my stay.
I was given a room on the 2nd floor. It was rather small but very quiet and offered basic amenities: large closet with a few coat hangers, small desk with a chair, very comfortable single bed. A good surprise was the flat screen TV and the individual air-conditioning. All equipment were working properly.
Bathroom is small but shower and WC were spotlessly clean. A major downside, however, was the weak water pressure i.e. water just dribbled out of the shower.

Breakfast buffet is well-presented and tasty. Great choice of breads - otherwise usual offering of cold cuts, cheese, yoghurts, cereals, fresh fruit salad. Regional products e.g. Mulhouse cake and local prune jam were a nice touch. On the downside there was no warm food such as scrambled eggs. Various newspapers were available (French, German). Beware that the breakfast room is rather small and becomes quite crowded from 09am.

WiFi is available free of charge but there is no Internet computer in the lobby.

All in all I can warmly recommend this hotel for its wonderful staff and excellent value for money.

We stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel is located near to the railway station and town centre. Our room was on the third floor and was bright and comfortable. The bathroom was immaculate, clean towels every day. We found the staff very helpful, particularly the reception staff, who spoke very good English and were keen to make sure that everything was okay for us. The buffet breakfast, was good, although a little overpriced at 11 euros each. Only slight criticism we had was the lack of tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Overall, a very nice hotel and would definitely stay here again.

Akthough I hate the concept that everyone should speak fluent English it always helps when they speak a few words.. We were trying to find their parking area and finally had to borrow the map to find it because no one could explain it, and there are many one way streets. We were there just to see the Schlumpf Automobile Museum, and decided to take a taxi after we got the car parked, That was a good choice as we were quickly transported there, It is a marvelous place which I would suggest to anyone who enjoys looking at cars, old and new, touring and racing about 3 0r 4 football firelds worth. Allot enough time we only had about 2 1/2 and could have use 6. When we got back they directed us to the old city about two olr three blocks away to Auberge Au Vieux Mulhouse. We had a lovely dinner at the outside cafe just across from the church. Beautiful setting as the sun went down,. Good choice. The rooms were clean, though small, confirtable and the breakfast was fine.
