We stayed for three nights in this small hotel just a few minutes' walk from the charming town of Eguisheim. Our family suite, with two bedrooms and one bathroom, was spacious and clean, with plenty of clothes storage. It was very quiet at night even with the windows open. It could have been perfect, but for the rather Basil and Sybil Fawlty-ish behavior of the owners. We had enquired before booking about availability of internet and were told there was access. But when we arrived, the manager told us we could use his PC in his reception area at 'designated times'. He told us none of the hotels in the area had internet. So we hung around in our room and I went down to the reception area at the 'designated time' but Madame was on the phone (chatting with a friend) and she waved me away, clearly annoyed that I was there. We gave up on the idea and walked into town, immediately passing a cafe advertising free wifi. Then past several hotels also offering free wifi. I wish our hotel manager had just told us the truth - that there was plenty of internet access everywhere, just not at his hotel. The owners also had a yappy little dog that barked through the fence at every guest as they came and went, which was irritating. The lock on our door was broken, which meant we had to slam the door to close it - and Madame commented one morning that we should try to close it more quietly. It's too bad. The location and the room were really excellent but the owners' attitude needs a bit of an overhaul. If you just stay there, and don't have much interacation with the owners, it's still a good choice.
