The rooms were small but clean and the staff pleasant and helpful.

But so NOT recommended for peace and quiet. They take coach parties who completely overrun the place - not even room for breakfast amid shrieking retired bakers when we were there. AT LEAST make room for non-group people at breakfast.

Prices extremely high for very basic services. Also, the car park is quite a trek away up a steep hill.

We stayed here in April 2010, out of season with 2 children. The hotel was in the process of being re-furbished and we had a great family room which had already been finished. The room was in fact 2 separate rooms, plus the bathroom. This meant that on a night, we could put the kids to bed and still watch tv / chat and have some privacy in the next room. There was no window in the kids part of the room and our window looked out onto a brick wall, but that didn’t matter because of the practicality of the room. Neither room was particularly big, but they were simply furnished and functional.

Everything was new and spotlessly clean. The staff were fantastic, making us very welcome and everything was very informal. They let the kids watch a DVD in the reception/ bar area on an extremely wet and windy afternoon and they let us use the hotel computer to sort travel arrangements.

The hotel is only a few hundred meters from the old town and practical for visiting the town. The port and local beaches are a short drive away. There was a private parking area about 250m from the hotel, but this didn’t feel too safe (I expect that in season, when there are more cars there, it would feel safe – it’s supposed to be gate controlled, but when we were there the gates were held open by stones!) but because it was April we were able to park outside the hotel.

We didn't eat in the hotel as the breakfast was expensive compared with the menu petit déjeuner offered in the cafes in the old town.

This hotel was generic and simple, but when traveling with kids, it’s how the room works that’s important.

Clean and modern but very basic and horrendously overpriced for what you get. Breakfast buffet very basic and breakfast room ridiculously small for all the tables they managed to squeeze in there.

The Hotel is located just outside the old town, a few minute walk to the main square and restaurants. It is conveniently located to all of the bus stops if you are like us and using public transportation.

The staff at the hotel is very friendly and nice, and extremely helpful with any questions you might have on how to get around and recommendations.

The rooms are a little small, but are clean and comfortable. The rooms have little windows, so the view is not much from the room even when over looking the bay.

We had WIFI included that worked well, and breakfast was nice and fresh with the usual continental fair, and tons of fresh fruit.

All and All, a great choice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
