We arrived in Ios around lunch time and visited the Acteon travel agency looking to find some accom. We were advised by the sales girl that she could offer us basic accom in her hotel or we could go to the best hotel on the island for a little more. We visited this "best hotel" only to be conned by the price and to be honest it isnt really all that. So much so I cant even remember the name.
We arrived back at acteon and we took the room there. We were told it would be very quiet and the price would be 25 euro per night. The room was very basic but comfortable. However it was extremely noisey throughout the night with no guard or receptionist to take control.
Do not book this hotel if you are after a good nights sleep or infact any sleep.
Also look out for the Amy Winehouse wanna be in the travel agents. Be very cautious with her as she will pull you for every cent she can get.
