“Ramada quality. Good price”
I stayed one night at this four storey modern property, two elevators. When you're travelling westbound towards Grande Prairie, you hang a right to head north on Hwy 2 to Peace River. You immediately pass the hotel on the right, then take the first light off hiway 2 to get back to the property.
My room had a separate living area with sofabed, microwave and fridge. Through the french doors was a king bedroom. TV in both rooms. The heating system wall control was beyond my late-night-been-travelling-too-long comprehension.
The only window - it's in the bedroom - has both sheers and blackout drapes. Quiet hotel, even though next to the hiway. No problems with the wifi; it requires your name - but no code.
When the room book tells you there's coffee and fresh fruit for breakfast, they're not leaving out anything. Truly, that is all there in the breakfast self-serve. No juice. No cereal or bread. A Husky restaurant is attached to purchase a more substantial breakfast.
A 24 hour business centre with two flat panel workstations is next to the breakfast seating area.
There is a main floor fitness room with LifeFitness eliptical, treadmill, and universal station. It's by the meeting rooms, although there's no directional signage and the room book doesn't mention it. There's a mat, ball, free weights, TV, muzac, spray to clean equipment, water cooler, towels. No portable fans, although a wall switch turns on a central fan. Sign in the room states it's 5am-11pm, but my room access card opened it at 11:30pm.
As Elley Mae states in her review below, the whole place is immaculate. Clearly, well maintained.
