Stayed here with my wife a week or so after we got married, on our Honeymoon tour of Scotland. Patsy, as everyone else says, is so friendly and welcoming. We were given a lovely room with en-suite, with a big comfy bed in a warm house. We were full to the rafters the night we arrived, and I think Patsy even gave up her room to accommodate everyone. We had dinner in the Halladale Inn a few miles away, and even though it was pub food - curries, steaks and so on, it was great. They had some Sky TV channels and it was busy and friendly. Patsy really makes an effort for you and looks like she gives 100% into running this business, she will run herself into the ground to make sure you are looked after. A perfect hostess with a lovely, cosy and welcoming home. Happy to go back here anytime.

My wife, mother in law and myself stayed here for 1 night. Patsy was out as we arrived early but her son showed us around and advised us where to eat. When we returned later in the evening Patsy was back and made us so welcome with tea/coffee and home made cakes. Patsy couldn't do enough for us and made our stay a memorable one. If we ever venture this far north again we would definately book in to Sharvedda. Can't say enough about the hospitality

we only stayed one night here but wished we could have stayed longer. Lovely welcome with tea and cakes on arrival. Patsy was not there when we arrived but her son and a lady helping out looked after us very well. Patsy is a lovely lady who can't do enough for you. Our room was lovely and spotlessly clean. Good location if you are visiting the north of scotland.

Patsy is a fantastic hostess and gives you such a welcome, you feel as if you have known her for years. Firstly you are served tea, and home made cake, in the conservatory overlooking the most superb view. Then very good advice given for supper at the Strathy Inn, and then back in the glorious Scottish evening light (incredible), to a very comfy bed, spotlessly clean, peace and quiet. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We were only there one night but made to feel special and welcome. Patsy is just great and so friendly. She also knows just where to find puffins, we followed her directions and found them easily. A great stay and a fantastic location.
