With some friends I am currently walking Scotlands coast and stayed in Sharvedda for two nights at the beginning of March. When I booked Patsy (mine host at Sharvedda )offered to help with transport arrangements to pick up and move our car without which our planned walks would have been almost impossible. The location ( a mile from nearest hotel for food and drink) may put some people off although this is not a problem as Patsy can provide quality meals or in our case transported us to and from the hotel. Tea ,coffee and home baking were part of the warm welcome when we returned each day.The rooms were spotless and very comfortable with great shower and best of all a bath was also available (most enjoyable after a hard days walking).The breakfasts were great quality with loads of choice and as much as you could eat. Patsy is second to none for her guenuinely warm welcoming personality and nothing was too much trouble. A great place to stay.

As part of walking the Scottish coastline a small group of us spent 2 nights at Sharvedda and experienced the very best of service you could ask for.
In an area where transport is difficult Patsy, the owner, helped us get about including to the nearby Strathy Inn for dinner.
We were welcomed with fresh tea and fine homemade cakes..lovely. Local people say Patsy is a fantastic baker...and they're not wrong.
We arrived when it was dark, when we woke next morning it was a lovely sunny day and the views were amazing and then some.
The rooms are a bit fussy for my plain taste but very clean and very comfortable. As for the bathroom and showers....lovely, especially at the end of a long day's walk.
My only fear now is that all other stops along the journey just won't measure up to how friendly and hospitable Patsy and Sharvedda were to us.

Enormous hospitality, great location! We arrived bicycle and were transported by Patsy to the pub for evening dinner! Very nice views from the B&B: the location is very, very special.

My friend and I have just arrived home from a trip up to the North of Scotland, where we stayed at Sharvedda for one night. When we arrived we were warmly greeted and given a thorough run through of all of the facilities. We were also offered a cup of tea of coffee.

The B&B is immaculate and careful attention has been paid to the cleaning process. Plenty of soft and fluffy towels were provided, and ample toilettries.

Sharvedda is positioned in a beautiful setting with a beautiful beach located nearby.

There was a wide selection for breakfast, and Patsy was very attentive to our needs. She was interested in her guests and what they had to say, spending time chatting.

Sadly it was only a short stay, but we will definitely recommend this B&B to others, and would return ourselves.
