Although a lovely rural hotel, with nicely-decorated rooms and clean bathrooms, think twice before staying there over the weekend. It's opposite the village youth club which plays very loud music. The front rooms do have double glazing but if the cigarette smoke rising up from the bar will bother you, then it's not for you. Any noise from the bar (the coffee machine and screaming kids) also travels up to the rooms, as does noise between rooms. Not recommended for a quiet getaway, despite what is advertised.
