“In a time warp”

Took us a while to find it as it IS NOT IN DESENZANO DEL GARDA but in the next settlement along the coast, it took 25-30 mins to walk to the nearest ferry station in Desenzano itself. I had requested parking when booking but when we arrived about 6.30pm I was told it was full!! Luckily there was a free carpark over the road and a space!! Hotel was in a 60`s/70`s time warp - interesting. Breakfast was OK but I have had better. Not very lively - even the owners seemed to not know what to do with themselves!! No nice eating places nearby either. It did have 2 jacuzzis on the roof though - nice view from up there!! We will not go back.

This is one of the best places I have slept in during my trip throughout Italy. Very convenient and grat value for the rate paid. The rooms are very clean and well equipped, Furniture is not older than 2 to 3 months !! There is a nice restaurant at the ground floor with local food served with class! The rates for he food are also vry convenient. The hotel offers a jacuzzi on a terrace at the roof floor where you can have a grat view of Lake Garda. Behind the hotel is the center of Rivoltella and Desenzano pedestrian area can be reached on foot in 15minutes or by bus in minutes, hotel has air conditioning in all rooms and a garage, although it is easy to park out on the street
Will stay here again for sure!
