We stayed here for two weeks in September last year. The hotel is pretty basic and if you are looking for no frills clean, quiet and friendly place to stay this is the right one for you. Our room was small, but it had spacious balcony overlooking hotel's pool. We were really happy with our balcony and been using it as a dining/living room every evening. Bathroom was very clean when we arrived and it was cleaned and towels changed once a week. We used pool every day before breakfast for 'start the day' swim and it also came handy on one or two days when it was too windy to stay on the beach. Behind the hotel there is a bbq area with tables for bigger parties.

Hotel is located some 8min walk on the quiet dusty road from the main beach, where you can use hotel's parasols and recliners free of charge. Villasimius has loads of really stunning beaches so if you don't mind walking or driving you could go to a different beach every day. Nature is truly amazing around this place. We like to walk and found so many hidden gems around. If you like cycling you can rent a bicycles from the hotel and explore the lovely Villasimius that way. I would definitely recommend going on a boat trip one day. Usually boats leave daily from the main port in the morning and come back in the afternoon. You can ask in the hotel for advice on excursions or you can find it for your self.

Reserve one day to visit Cagliari. If you don't have a car it's a 2 hour bus journey from Villasimius. There is a timetable on the bus stop, but it's more reliable to ask locals about bus times.

It was a long time i didn't go to Sardinia. 20 years ago i visited the north. Last summer we went to visit the southern part and Villasimius was our town! We chose Palm Village because we knew that life there was very expensive and in a residence we could have the possibility to cook by ourselves. And Palm village proved to be an excellent solution: our room was small and with no frills but it was clean and operational: it was exatly what we expected to a residence where we should just eat and sleep. Moreover its position is excelent: you can easily reach by car all the beaches of the area within a maximum of 15 minutes. And the beaches of the area are pure heaven!!!

I traveld with Expedia for a week.We arrived on Satueday.On Tuesday I asked hotel staff when the towels and bedsheets are being changed.They said is not in our deal.So for the whole week the hotel did not provide us with clean stuff.Can you belive it!

I loved my holidays in Sardinia, the town with its authentic feel, the wine and coffee were fab!
Palm Village was a great informal /apartment style hotel. Very clean and quiet in general!
The beaches in Sardinia are one of the best I came across in Europe with warm water and gentle waves. Will be back!!
