we took 3 bungalow at three steps from the beach, for three families with small kids. the place is excellent! friendly people, very good service, nice rooms well equipped (apart from the missing German filter coffee machine ;-)
The animation is great (grazie Valentina!), they take care of kids during the whole day and also of parents in need of a bit of relax and sport. A paradise for surfers and kite lovers. The best sea in Italy combined with sandy beaches perfect for building castelli!
good food in the all inclusive package, but the real highlight are the ravioli dello shef with zaffran sauce served at the restaurant of the camping place! The place offers also a very convenient supermarket with all what is needed for an excellent italian life standard!
what we learned unfortunately too late is that there is a bus connection directly from Bari to Gabbiano Beach that takes you there in only 2 hours. Instead we rented a car (AVIS) at the airport in Bari and could give it back in Vieste at our arrival (also quite convenient if you travel with kids and lot of stuff). We hope to be back soon!
