Have been staying at this hotel for nearing 4 years 2 or 3 times a year but have visited it regularly for the past 20 years. The staff are superb, particularly in the restaurant and at reception. It represents excellent value for money and I found it perfect for short and long stays with my children. The beach is right opposite and the value of the beach facilities is greatly underestimated by many. The beach clubs offer superb facilities including meals, hot showers, clean sandy beach and well laid out and organized facilities. The hotel has been under the same ownership for many years, the owner himself pays regular visits and is investing every year in the structure. The general manager has a great eye for detail and is very professional indeed, to say he is passionate about the hotel is an underestimate.
I have very fond memories of this hotel and just how professional and friendly the staff have always been, therefore will most certainly be returning.

One of the most beautiful Hotels ever seen and been into. As soon as you get in it seems to live in a fable. The hall is very spacious surrounded from several and comfortable lounges. The Bedroom was large very clean and well decorated, and definetely was worth paying for the upgraded front view with such a spectacular sea view. Our friends stayed in a similar room athough not sea front-view, but overlooking the lovely garden and pool located on the back of the hotel. All the rooms our friends stayed were very large and their feedback was very positive too.All the staff was very kind,professional, and very helpful. the beautiful 25 m. swimming-pool was well equipped and clean.We also took opportunity to use their restaurant for a couple of nights and definetely was worth it, very good value and competitive versus the several restaurants in Viareggio. Hotel very well managed through different areas.Highly reccomended and we loved Viareggio too.

I have used this hotel for business and pleasure and both the hotel and the staff never fail to please .
Spacious public areas inside and out offer a calm and relaxed feeling day and night.
I travel Italy all over each year and always look forward to returning to Viareggio and the Grand.

What a fab place.stunning food & service even the buffet is of 5 star quality.the staff are brilliant.the room we had was pleasant & located at the rear so was quiet.cannot recommend this enough.can't wait to go back.
