We stayed two nights at Stefano and Elena's lovely home last September. They provided the perfect balance of privacy and helpfulness, taking time to answer all of our questions with patience.Their sincerity, enthusiasm and warmth didn't seem to be diminshed after seasons of entertaining tourists. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious, the best we've ever had: homemade melt-in-your mouth pastries and pizza, with fruit and yoghurt for the calorie-minded guests - all served on a quiet terrace overlooking the courtyard. In future, after this experience, we'll be choosing the bed and breakfast/small inn option over the more anonymous hotel accomodation especially if it lives up the standards of Il Sole Antico. By the way Via Reggio off season is a striking seaside resort just a short train ride from Cinque Terre. Great restaurants too and in September no crowds! Cathy and Trish
