We stayed here for 2 nights in July this year and cannot speak too highly of the hotel.Although it is a short drive into Cannobio[a beautiful place] that did not detract from the hotel. The staff were very helpful and our room opened out onto a terrace that went out to the lakeside giving us a wonderful lake view from our bedroom. Our room had been furnished to a high standard with a large en suite facility. To sum up, location, location,location. We loved both the hotel and the town of Cannobio.

“Avoid it”
This hotel is not in Cannobio but a few kilometers out of the small city. On the positive side, the view is nice and there is a direct access to the lake. But on the negative side, the building by itself is old and poorly maintained, the rooms are very very small and the family (I guess) in charge very rude.
Conclusion: overpriced (breakfast not included) - not worth it.
