We found this hotel by chance and what a delight it was. It was a shame for us that it had been raining so wasn't really suitable to sit outside but the area looked lovely and inviting. we walked to town and found a wonderful osteria for dinner so the hotel is well placed for amenities. the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was fine, continental as expected.

The hotel has been recently refurbished, our room was very spacious and spotlessly clean; Very good king-size bed, bedlinen and towels of good quality. Breakfast was good and mainly sweet oriented, with plenty of brioche/cakes and pastry (this is Italy after all!), but cereal, fruit and yoghurt were always present. Staff always kind and ready to help. Very recommended hotel.
Not really a complaint, but it would be nice to have more choice for savoury food at breakfast: however, some bread and prosciutto or salame and cheese were always present. It was OK for me, but my other half (British) missed his scrambled eggs and bacon! Umbria is a wonderful region as far as food is concerned and it would be a good idea to add some local products for breakfast and a larger selection of types of bread and a toaster.

Wonderful updated/remodeled rooms. Very clean and fresh. Housekeeping staff were outstanding! Always going ubove and beyond their duties. The air conditioner unit was not functioning properly and the housekeeper was always willing to help get it started. Do not know why the front desk clerk(failed to get his name) was not able to get an electric technician in to fix the problem. Other than that my experience at the Hotel Charleston was very pleasant. Certainly a repeat would be in order. Great location.

The room was beautiful and fresh. The staff could not do enough for us. Order a bottle of wine and sit under the vines and soak in Spoleto. It is worth putting Spoleto on your agenda when you can stay at a place like this!
