We (two adults) arrived in this area to hike and found that a music festival was in progress in Castelrotto and all hotel rooms there were booked. We traveled up the road a bit to the great little village of Siusi and found this family owned and run hotel. Room came with breakfast and dinner(which was hearty and excellent). We had been earlier in Venice and Florence, Cinque Terre and Cortina d'Apezzo, and bcan say without hesitation that this hotel was the best place we stayed. The rooms were a very comfortable size and our room had a balcony with a table, two chairs and two additional collapsable lounge chairs. The view was pastoral. It was quiet, the family spoke English and were polite, friendly and helpful. The place was immaculately clean. It had a sauna, steam room and a pool. Robes, slippers and towels were also available for our use. And, when you add in the value of our dinners (a buffet antipasti course, a first and second course, cheese and a sweet item ( peach melba for example) for dessert, these great rooms were the best value we found in Italy. And, we walked to the lift which took us up to the Alpe Di Suisa for our hike. I would return there without hesitation.
