The hotel is luxuriously appointed, spotlessly clean and the staff ver courteous, attentive and friendly. The interior design is beautiful and cleverly executed with many attractive features. The hotel is positioned within walking distance of shops, restaurans and historical center. The food of both of restaurants is absolutely superb! We shall certainly stay at this hotel again.

My wife and I and our three children stayed here for three days in July, 2010. The hotel is fantastic. The food at the free breakfast wasn't that great but the lovely garden breakfast area is really special. One of our rooms was the suite with the rooftop balcony that looks over the beach and from which you may see the beautiful beachfront buildings. The town of Sestri Levante is wonderful, the large property of the hotel has a very nice pool. It is directly across the street from the beach.

You have to pay to use the beach umbrellas and chairs but it's worth it.

The train station is literally ten minute walk from the hotel and a 25-30 minute ride to Chinque Terre. It was a little pricy but everyne in my family thought it was great.

This should have been a lovely hotel to stay in. The position is good and its grand and interesting. However, for value it is awful. Our room at €250 a night had a view of the laundry and empty chemical bottles - not what was promised. The service is just unfriendly - guests are an imposition and very little info on anything was forthcoming. The private beach is a bit of a con - you need to pay €30 for the loungers etc. We suffered from lots of noise in the night from other guests slamming drawers and water works. On the plus side we had the Saturday night buffet at 30 euros a head and it was great - really nice food. Towels were good too. Old ones provided to use by the pool. But for €250 a night B and B we were definitely expecting more.
