Great hotel, good location, great food a nice family hotel

Minor issue loud cleaners early in the morning which lacks respect.

Would like if they had put the fire on earlier as it makes it more charming.

We look forward to returning here.

I fully recomend Hotel Genziana in Selva Gardena. I stayed during one week at this hotel and everything was wonderful.

The service is always friendly, the rooms are spacious and confortable, the spa is really clean and beauty treatments will take you to heaven. But the most remarkable thing was the food: abundant and excellent every single day.

You can go skiing almost to the door and the nearest lift is just some steps from the hotel.

We stayed at the hotel Genziana (Selva) in January for a weeks skiing. The hotel is modern with excellent facilities though is furnished in a traditional and homely style. This reflects the friendly and family run nature of the hotel.

The bar and eating areas are beautifully furnished with comfy sofas and an open fire, ideal for relaxing on an evening after a hard days skiing. The food is good and plentiful and the starter bufftet is a notable feature. Look out for the weekly champagne /prosceco cocktail party.

The hotel also has a sub-terrarean pool and spa with sauna and steam room and was always spotlessly clean. Our room was standard though again was immaculate and the bathroom was large.

For skiers it is possible to ski to within 20 yards of the front door and two of the major lifts are within 100 yards walk. It is an ideal location for exploring the Sella Ronda and its circuit which is ideal for intermediaries who like travelling large distances without too many challenges. It is also ideally placed for walking in the summer.

In summary, the Genziana is well worth its 4 star rating. It is friendly and relaxing, the food is good, the facilities are great and it is ideally placed for exploring the area, both in summer and winter.
