I recently stayed here for one week of skiing in the Dolomites. Great skiing but a disappointing hotel. The trip was booked by a local tour company and I went with 23 others. The room I stayed in was by all means sub standard. It was the size of a Gemini space capsule, the bathroom being as large as the room and the bathroom lacked proper showering facilities; no shower curtain, just a shower over the tub allowing me to shower the entire bathroom.

Where as every hotel in town has a pool, sauna, WiFi and other amenities expected by today's vacationer, this hotel has nothing other than a heated rack for your ski boots. We were led to believe that this place had such luxuries. Oh well.

Although the staff was pleasant and cheerful, the owner/manager or whatever she is, was atrocious! Imagine a person in the hospitality business that acts like her guests are there to please her! Unbelievable. This woman thinks she's running a concentration camp, not a hotel.

I know the ski season is winding down this year but if you're looking for next season, stay away from Hotel Des Alpes and Frau Himmler. Try the Hotel Armin, I wish I had stayed there.
