Not quite a 4 star. The room was clean and well furnished (beds a bit hard) with the en-suite being a bit on the basic side. The shower had a curtain, which clung to you when showering. The shower gel and hair shampoo provided were in sachets. The balcony was a nice size, and ours overlooked the pool. The hotel itself was always spotless, except when I had to walk in from the pool to order a drink. The pool was cold, like many hotel pools in this area it isn't heated. The poolside bar was rarely open, which probably explained why no-one stayed around during the day. There was no evening entertainment for guests (not even piped music) so the place was virtually empty by 9:30pm.
The food was of good quality but there wasn't a choice for dessert. Dinner was ordered from a menu at breakfast, which we were told helps reduce waste. Breakfast was limited in choice.
The staff provided a good service and the couple of problems we had were dealt with very promptly.
It is a good 20/25 minute walk to the centre of Sorrento, along busy roads, some of which are dogs toilets.
