We loved staying at Hotel Angelina. It is small and friendly. Like staying with friends! Room was small like most Europe hotels, but very clean and the balcony was a plus with a nice view. Could reach out and touch lemons. Hotel is in a quaint neighborhood where you can walk anywhere - to the beautiful beach, the train station, and good, inexepnsive restaurants. We went to Sorrento two times (short trip on the train) and turned around both times and went back to quiet Sant'Agnello. What a difference! We easily took the train to Pompeii. Would definitely go back to Hotel Angelina and its friendly staff.

This was our first night stay in Italy and overall we were very happy with the hotel.
Paulo was really friendly and helpful. Tips, advice and info were happily given without hesitation.
Our room was on the first floor with the balcony facing the "lemon grove" (which was just a few trees).
Room size is adequate, bed was comfortable and everything is really clean.
Breakfast spread was good. There's a nice bright breakfast room but we preferred dining at the outdoor terrace.

Location of the hotel is off the busy main road which was great!
We decided to stay in Sant Agnello instead of Sorrento because we wanted a nice quiet place.
You can walk or take the train to Sorrento. The train station is a mere 10 mins walk away.
Everything is within walking distance. There are eateries and even a supermarket near the train station.
We loved going through the small lanes from the hotel to the train station.

We stayed for 2 nights. We visited the Pompeii ruins, Sorrento town and Capri island.
This was one of our best hotel stays during our 2 weeks honeymoon in Italy. :)

Angelina is an outstanding small hotel - the rooms are spacious and clean as are the bathrooms. The welcome is great and you feel that they really care about your comfort and needs. Excellent breakfast with much variety to choose from. Good parking in the hotel in an area where parking spaces are a premium. Within walking distance of the train station for trips to Sorrento, Pompeii and Naples - all on a direct line. Several good and inexpensive restaurants within easy walking distance. Personally, we preferred the Moonlight restaurant - it had several vegetarian options, the food was delicious and the prices moderate. We would most definitely stay in this hotel again.

This hotel is superb. Really clean and well looked after and outstanding value for money. Breakfast is high quality and with a good variety of dishes to suit all tastes. Paulo is incredibly helpful. He loaned us guide books to the archeological sites and the 3 local restaurants he recommended were excellent.
