Last WE, my birthday was coming so my boyfriend decided to surprise me and booked us a trip to Italia and 2 nights at this hotel. I was very excited as I had never been to Italia before. First thing when we get there : the road to get to the hotel is very old and very hard to drive. Second thing : the staff at the reception was just not nice, not smily, and unhelpful. The lady didn't explain anything, she gave us the key, and we really felt that we were bothering her. Third thing : the room. When I saw it, I almost cried. Because of the dissapointment. The room was so bland, no decoration at all, the furniture was very ugly, there was only 1 towel, and the floor had not been cleaned properly. There was still some hair on the floor. Then, after all the disappointment, we decided to head for the pool. The pool was not at all like the pictures. It looked old, and some employes were cleaning it and they were speaking very loud and having fun. So it really didn't make me wanna swim in it. Nway the water was extremly cold. At night we decided to turn on the tv (which was very small and looked very old). And half the channels were blur. So we just turned it off and went to sleep. In the morning we decided to leave (even if we were supposed to stay another night). The only good point is that the staff let us leave even if we had booked for another night. I would say that the most positive thing about this hotel is that it made us appreciate our home even more! I wouldn't recommand it to anybody.
