Best Western Nazionale is a wonderful experience: perfect location near the casino, elegant rooms, clean and shinny, new furniture, nice view over Via Mateotti.
In addition breakfast on the terrace restaurant makes you ejoy the view over the city, the port and the sea.
But the Wow factor came from the reception, where Sergio, having over 40 years experience in hospitality business, was the perfect host.

Rooms are clean, spacious and we had a nice view overlooking the church next door. The bathroom had a groovy shower/spa tub and a separate toilet which is always handy with a family. The staff are courteous, but not overly friendly. Breakfast is served upstairs overlooking the water, easy to get used to, as was the flat white "real" coffee and short black chaser to get the day off to a "proper" start.

We've got a corner room, so it was pretty big with partial sea view. Other standard rooms are smaller but also large enough with very high сeiling and new furniture. The hotel is newly repaired and everything works just fine including conditioner. The hotel has places on the 1st category beach and some of them are free of charge. Location is on the main walking street near Casino so its pretty much the center of the city activity. You've also get simple but very good cafe in the hotel with 10% discount from the hotel (and there are not too many other good cafes nearby). And there is the brilliant terrace on the roof where breakfast is serving.
Poor breakfast, small TV with Eurosport in German (it was US Open while we stayed there). It's not a first line horel so you don't have rooms with sea view. Also some other hotels are situated in man-made tropical forest, this one is on the main walking and shopping street. Sometimes staff is not very polite, but it rather depends on a person.

Spent three nights in this hotel in the end of August 2011.The hotel is wonderfully located close to the beautiful casino building. You can use the garage for your car which is located rather far from the hotel, but costs 15 EUR/night, I suppose it is worth to pay this price. Staff is friendly and helpful. Room is absolutely out-dated, but clean. Breakfast is ok, but served on the open terrace which has no ventilation or air conditioning so it is not comfortable to eat outside because of outside temperature. Food was ok, but not more as twice I saw rotten vegetables and fruit salad there which is ABSOLUTELY not acceptable for a chain 4 star hotel. I suppose that hotel could be acceptable for 1-2 nights, but not more and always take into consideration the price offer (if may happened).
