We arrived here on January 1st, from Venice. It was somewhat expensive to get there because the buses were not working on the holiday. We had a taxi arranged from the train station in Bolzano, which cost an arm and a leg.

The hotel was wonderful. They upgraded us to a suite, which was really big and had a nice fruit bowl and mini bar.

We had dinner at St. Hubertus on the first night. This was my first Michelin 2 star restaurant and it was truly excellent. All the courses were delicious and they each were paired with a delicious wine, some of which were local wines.

The hotel had a ski shuttle that dropped us off at the ski mountain and picked us up when we were finished.

The spa area was really nice. We only used the swimming pool and the sauna.

When we left, the hotel gave us a homemade strudel for the road that was incredibly delicious!

This is an amazing hotel , it is set in a spectacular valley with more of an Austrian feel than Italian. The only issue with the hotel we had, were several English couples with simply awful children who screamed a lot in the spa areas and relaxation areas , the staff seemed indifferent to this aspect . The staff however are first rate ,food excellent a must visit area .

we've stayed various times in the hotel usually in Summer.
it is a treat and a great place to recharge energy before heading back to work.
The Dolomite Mountains are fantastic and there is everythign to do outdoors. And coming back to the Rosa Alpina in the afternoon to relax, enjoy the pool, a treatment at the spa or a good meal on one of its restaurants is perfect.

the title says it all. We keep coming back since three years and the staff even remembers the way we want our coffee in the morning. The Dolomites are great and the food in the whole area incredible.
