Just spend 1 week in hotel des relais with group of 7.
Check in is at 2 o'clock. Room was lovely. Was on 2nd floor at end of corridor so no compaints of any noise. Very clean and warm. No bath unfortunately.
Food was very good. Breakfast consisted off cereals, croissants, hams/cheeses, yogurts, cooked breakfast and omlettes cooked on the spot.
Dinner was different every night, cant compain about variety. Starter, main and pudding was always different, and very tasty!
Heated boot room in useful but doesnt always heat your boot all the way to the toes so did have very cold feet to start with, most of the week. Can always take you boots to the room though.
To get to the 1st chair lift is bit of a treck, but easily manageable. Bus stop is 1 minute away to get 5 min drive up mountain to chair lift. At the end of the day it is easy enough to ski down further to sauze le deux centre and walk 5-10 minutes back to hotel. Can always get bus back though.
Best 10 euro spend of the holiday was the jacuzzi and sauna in the hotel. Amazing to come back to after a long cold day on the slopes. 10 euros each for the week which gives you a robe and slippers. You have to book your time slot every day, (able to book the day before), and can have max 8 every hour.
Bar downstairs is very good, however we did manage to find a lounge to chill in opposite the restaurant to play games in every evening.

Just got back from a week in the Relais. Food was excellent, staff very friendly and helpful. Bedrooms were adequate, floor tiles made it cold, coupled with the fact the heating appeared to be turned off at night which was not great ! had to pay 10 euros for the use of the jacuzzi/steam room and had to book a 45 mins slot in advance to use it, which some people didn't so it got really busy. Too small for the size of the Hotel. Skiing in Sauze was great, only down side - had to walk up hill in ski boots with skis to get to the chair lifts. Sauze has a distinct lack of Gondalas. We had to walk from the coach to the Hotel on arrival (not too bad) however walking back on departure we had to wait in minus 16 for the coach for 35 minutes at 07.30 in the morning.

Very good value for money, with excellent food for price. Most floors were tiled & that could make it noisy with late revellers. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Only snag we could not get a room with a bath as there are none (As far as we could tell)

This hotel lies in the centre of town a few minutes walk from all the bars and restaurants. The hotel has it's own bar - The Queens - and it and staff are excellent with Sky TV, good draft beers and some well made cocktails. The restaurant - which was buffet style for our trip - provides wholesome energy food ideal for a weeks hard skiing.

There is a boot room, although not very well heated, and a jacuzzi/sauna, which was not working all week - much to the bemusement of us all.

The rooms are functional but what more can you ask for on a ski holiday? The heating works well and there is endless hot water in the adequate shower. Our hot water turned orange every now and again but where's the harm in that ?!

The noise stops this review being 5 stars. Everything everyone has said about the noise is true. There is no sound deadening/insulation so if you are early to bed and a light sleeper...do NOT book this hotel, you have no chance. If you can sleep through anything, this warm and comfortable and clean and excellently staffed hotel is for you.
