We booked this last minute for New Year and stayed for the week half board. The hotel is under new management and there has been improvements made to the hotel so if looking at reviews I would only look at the reviews from this season onwards as it was basically a different hotel last year.
This is a really good hotel and for £600 half board at new year is excellent value. The rooms are a bit on the small side but the public areas are very spacious. Special mention must go to Gino the head barman and Nino the head waiter as I have never experienced people so welcoming day after day and we have stayed in a lot of hotels.
There is a private minivan to take you to and from the hotel to the main ski lifts each day so saves you struggling up the cobbled streets with skis and boots etc.
The hotel is very clean and the food was excellent all week and the bar prices are very reasonable. The only area I would say needs improved is the fact that the hotel want to charge 25 euros each day to use the spa facilities !!! We had a free entry one day and used it but I would not pay 25 euros to use it each day. This should be complimentary and part of the package.
Overall great hotel, great staff and great holiday

Just returned from Sauze and had an awesome time with the lads! Hotel staff make thisl a special place! Would definitely return to this hotel. Great food, good selection and very friendly service. Rooms were a little small but better than the French! Location was very good, a little walk from main lifts, bars, clubs and shops. There is also a very funny Italian piano player in the lobby which created a good atmosphere in the evenings when you are enjoying a drink either before or after dinner. I wish all the staff in the hotel all the success they deserve with future seasons and hope to see them again.

Have just returned from a weeks skiing holiday. The staff in the hotel are excellent. The most friendly and helpful that I have come across. Milo, Amiralinda, Nino and Gino (sorry if I have made any spelling mistakes!!) are but a few of the staff that made our holiday a great experience. The hotel bus is a great idea and you just had to ask to be taken wherever you wanted to go and then picked up for your return to the hotel. The restaurant food was brilliant and there was loads of it and the staff where very attentive. The only drawbacks we found was that our room was a bit small and there wasnt much wardrobe storage space with no drawers at all and we couldnt find any English television channels.
Would definately return if we were to go back to Sauze Doulx. Thanks to the staff for making our holiday an enjoyable one.

Just returned from a 3 night ski break. The hotel fits in well with the rest of the old toen buildings. Great views across the valley. short walk into the town. took the hotel's shuttle to and from the sportina lift.
rooms were a bit small but comfortable. nice to have a balcony to step out onto.
The staff were very friendly, helpful etc in a genuine way. Gino is a fantastic barman and good company.
The ski area itself is good but needs better signposting of runs and linking up.
The town has more character and real italian bars, restaurants than other concrete resorts visited elsewhere in the alps.
