We were last week, vacation great pity for the little snow.Hotel located very close to the ski slopes, an excellent location for skiers. Very comfortable, clean with polite staff except the Romanian name Michela receptionist was amazingly kind and rude!Food excellent and abundant breakfast, not because it's only continental. Excellent also the town with many places of fun and many pubs. To recommend!!

the location ideal for those to ski. easily accessibile from milano or torino if you flying in. we are sure that we return again !

Hotel was brilliant. Extremely well placed for both the bottom of the lift, and the town centre. The food in the hotel was certainly not INEDIBLE, like that very well traveled reviewer from Dublin. It was good quality, very well cooked, simple hearty fare, erm..exactly what you need after a hard day skiing on some of the best slopes in the world..? The staff were, on the whole a bit miserable...(with the exception of the really friendly lady from Transilvania - she was brilliant!) however they don't get a day off until the season ends, and with that in mind, they did a brilliant job. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with fresh towels every day. Our room was a bit on the warm side, and the radiator leaked if you turned it down..however we just opened the patio doors, out onto our wee balcony - and it was fine. We ate out on our last night - do not under any circumstances go to the Godfather Pizza Restaurant. The guy is bonkers, and instead of serving the people he has sitting down, he tries to cram in more customers..we waited 45 minutes to order..almost managed it, but then he toddled off and served another table...so we left, and thank goodness we did, as we found a lovely wee Pizza house in the old part of town, full of Italians...and had a great night there. All in all, a great place to stay and ski. Would go back.

Just back after a week skiing in Sauze D'Oulx. Great skiing but this is not the hotel to stay in. The food was really bad. Salty stale cereal, cordial for orange juice, dinner is served at 7:30 every night, set menu and takes a minimum two hours. Everything is deep fried, the marmalade tart for dessert was hard as a rock, Even the staff were laughing at how bad it was. We did have our towels changed every day. And the room was adequate, mattresses were very soft, and the shower was tiny. We rang up to enquire about some clothes we'd left behind in the wardrobe and after hanging up on me twice eventually the manager answered just to say the staff found nothing. When I told him I'd need to report to the police for insurance he said go ahead and hung up the phone. Completely ignorant.
