A week in sauze D'Oulx's,snow was great,slopes were great,company was great...........snow great,slopes were great,company was great.........where do i start? Enrico im sorry we stayed at your house, did you not know we were coming out on holiday? didnt really speak but walked around and looked like we had just come in off the streets and streched out on his sofa,amazing,the food was plain,hospitality poor,and the wine? Enrico doesn't know,i dont know,inghams dont know,who knows?????????? please check and let me know! good luck.

(1) make sure wine is included in your package before you order
(2) despite very helpful waitress staff the food lacks Italian passion
(3) rooms are basic and in need of upgrading
(4) common area lacks ambience
(5) this establishment lacks the basic hospitality you can reasonably expect from a hotel.

We stayed for a week's skiing through Ingham's at the hotel which was in a good location on the edge of Sauze D'Oulx's old town. It was a good hotel with simple furnishings, clean rooms, and plenty of hot water in the shower. The staff were kind and friendly- and it being home to Sauze's first ever expresso bar - the coffee was great.

Food was plentiful with a different pasta course every night.

It was supposed to be a three minute walk to the nearest lift - but that was uphill on cobbles and so we opted to take the bus to the slopes from the square along with almost everyone else.

It was near to a couple of nice bars, especially the chair lift cafe just a few metres away. Nice wine, coffee and Italian beers and apres ski antipasti. Sauze's once-held repuation as being Benidorm on snow now seems out of date.

The Hotel Monte Genevris is not a high end place to stay, but is perfect if you want a simple place at a good price.

Stayed for the first visit of 2012. As usual we were looked after very well. Hopefully will be back in march.
