We stayed at the Bellariva with our 2 teenagers. We used it as a base for exploring the lake area and the lower Dolomites. The hotel seems to have 2 parts--the regular hotel rooms and apartments in a building right across the road. We stayed in an apartment, which was perfect for our family. There was a bedroom, kitchen with a fridge and a stove (no microwave), bathroom with washing machine, living room with TV and sofa, and a corner of the living room with bunk beds. The apartment was basic, but functional. There was a closet in the bedroom and a dresser in the living room. There was a balcony with table and chairs, clothes line, and a fabulous view of the lake, mountains and huge trees. The bedroom had the same view, and it was heavenly to wake up to this every morning. My main criticism of the room was the cheap furniture--the drawer pulls actually came off in my hand. There is also no elevator, and you have to walk up and carry your luggage. We were 2 floors up. This was not a problem for us, but it might be for some people.
The best part of the hotel is its location--right on a lovely (public) beach on the lake. Right next door were places to rent bicycles and kayaks. The walk to the center of town is about 10 minutes. Breakfast was basic but adequate.
The hotel is not luxurious, but it was great for our family.
