we stayed here for 1 week in mid june, as a family of 4 (the youngest being me 20 years old, the oldest being 59) we found all our desires catered for...excellent pool area to sunbathe for me, large enough pool for my older sister to swim (even if it was a litle chilly), situated right in the heart of riva for my parents to wander off to and explore but located near footbaths and old castles aswell. We found the amenities in the hotel excellent for a 3*....nice pool, plentiful good selection of breakfast including muesli/cereals,croissants,cakes, eggs, coffee machine and yogurts with fruit and also surprisingly a sauna, steam room, massage room and jacuzzi. The only discrepencies we had with the hotel was the 'wet-room' bathroom (the shower is not blocked off from the rest of the bathroom so after a shower the whole bathroom floor is soaking, but dries within a few hours) the lack of staff in the poolside bar if you needed a drink or snack, and sometimes the owners 4 young children playing very loudly on their toy trucks until 10.30 at night! Other than that, i would definately return as the location and amenities were ideal.

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights as I was unable to find availability elsewhere in Riva. The hotel is situated right in the old town of Riva which was fantastic. Our room was adequate - clean but a little dated. Breakfast was terrible - burnt croissants, no fruit, processed cheese and very hard boiled eggs. If I was to return to Riva I would try to stay elsewhere next time

Casa Canarino is a small but lovely hotel. They have an outdoor pool and also an outdoor jacuzzi, which you can use late at night. Rooms are clean and breakfast is very abundant. Hotel is very close to the town centre and the bus station. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
