Is defintely not a 4* hotel. As soon as we arrived we had to sit in the car park for half an hour because we had not even been booked into the hotel. The manager arrived after a while in some very dirty old overalls. When we walked into the hotel the place as ice cold. The heating was apparently broken. This did not get fixed until Wednesday night. We all went for dinner at 7PM to find out that the coffee machine was broken and there was no food for us. There was only one waiter so he was rushed off his feet. We all ate our food in coats and gloves. The tea bags run out and one woman asked for some tea bags, the waiter point blank refused to give her more tea bags. It was ment to be all inclusive but we weren't allowed anything when it ran out. My granddaughter had brought her ipod so we could contact back home, we soon found out that there is no wifi connection in the upstairs of the hotel. The next day i asked the receptionist if i could move room because the room was still too cold and there was no heating in the bathroom. The woman checked the room twice, gave me two blankets and refused to move me and my daughter. The coach driver was more helpful than the staff! He tried to fix the heating in my room but he couldnt. We had to use the same towels for the whole time we were there. The carpets in the hotel were stained by what looks like bleach. I booked a twin room and they gave me a double. I would not reccomend that hotel to anybody, defintely not a 4* hotel!!!

We stayed at this hotel in September 2011 and found it a nice hotel with friendly staff the room was large with a balcony you could actually sit on and a view over the gardens and mountains. The breakfast was continental but that was to be expected having said that it was sufficient and the evening meal was waiter served and as previous reviews say it was average. It is only a short walk into the town of Arca and well worth a visit. We travelled to this hotel with Shearings but beware if you choose the option of flying instead of traveling overland by coach you will find that you do not have a reserved seat on the coach and have to stand outside until all the other people have taken their seats when we complained Shearings said that if you travel by air then you don’t have any inclusive tours even though it plainly states on the internet that three inclusive tours are included so if the driver has any spare seats then you can go on the tours.

A nice hotel that had friendly and efficient staff. The menu was average but I never had to order the omlette which was on offer if you didn't like what was on that evening. Breakfast was a bit boring but you wouldn't starve. Nice big room with a balcony and a view of the mountains.The all inclusive drinks were Beck's lager and drinkable red and white wine. No spirits but I think you could buy them if you wanted to. Entertainment on one night only. Pleasant walk to the local shops and a castle if you fancy a climb. Overall a pleasant stay for a few days. Well Done Shearings.

We have recently returned from an all inclusive Shearings holiday trip staying here and visiting lakes, Venice and Verona. Stunning area, beautiful lakes and mountains and perfect weather. Blue skies every day. Although, it was very hot, air conditioning was off as mid September! Rooms large and very clean. We were told to keep our windows shut because of the mosquitoes!! First visit was to pharmacy for repellent. i was lucky. Husband and other people bitten a lot. We felt we were made to feel like a coach party. There were only 25 of us as half the coach went to other areas which added an hour on to our 13 hour journey!! Would have preferred to travel overnight like last year. 3 breaks only during this time. Our drivers were not a patch on last year. One hardly spoke. The other made an effort but could have told us so much more. Dining room did have low lighting but didn`t mind that. Salad and pasta every night was fine but main meals and desserts were very poor. We all thought that. The packed lunches were awful. 2 rolls, no butter and a bit of ham or cheese. Piece of fruit. Bottle of water and dry little toasts! We ate out eg pasta, pizza or bruschetta. We would not do all inclusive again. We will be booking with Shearings again as I have credit vouchers on a complaint I made about the cost of this holiday! After that, who knows. This was not a cheap holiday and this hotel should not be used. Interestingly, the standard of the other people`s hotel was 5* compared to ours and the same price.
