Good room- lived up to expectations. Food of a high quality. Staff extremely friendly and attentive: also very kind in their handling of a young teenager. Indoor pool for the odd shower The pool area is fine however the key strength of the hotel is the delightful garden area in which to sunbathe. Fabulous well priced activities such as windsurfing and dingy training. An expensive choice all in all however you cannot fault the food, customer service, and the venue itself. i would suggest this hotel as a great venue for honeymoons, families and those that love quality.

I'm usually enamored of the sights rather than hotels but this hotel is unbelievable. it is situated in the middle of it's own botanical garden...ponds, flowers, vegetation of all kinds; all this bordering Lake Garda surrounded by mountains. It is a short 10 minute walk to town and the walk is a breathtaking experience on its own; the hotel gardens continues as a public park. the park is on your right and beautiful Lake Garda on your left as you walk.
Breakfast is in an open air dining room surrounded by tropical vegetation; the breakfast itself is spectacular with an omelet -crepe maker and endless choices.
All this plus tennis, spectacular pools surrounded by trees and mountains,wind-sails and boats to rent . I was on a tour so I don't know the specifics prices but we had a suite overlooking the gardens. If you visit the Italian lake area, don't miss it.

We stayed at the end of August, our choice of superior room was right. The room was in the centre of the hotel with a spectacular view over the trees towards the lake and mountains. My wife's "wow" when we saw the view from the balcony said it all. We were on half board and amazed at the variety and quality of the food at both breakfast and dinner. Plenty of choice from the evening menu, with an extensive buffet for a first course. The only negative we would mention is the price of the water and wine. There is, close by, a supermarket where you can purchase bottles of water for a fraction of the cost that the hotel charges. The position of the hotel is excellent as it offers you the chance to walk along the lakeside to Riva. From there boat trips can be taken to other beautiful old towns on the lake. We also recommend that you book a day trip by coach in order to visit other towns on the lake, such as, Sirmione and Malcesine. These and other tours can be booked with the reception staff. We found all the staff, without exception, to be very helpful, friendly and polite. Our stay at the Hotel du Lac et du Parc was fantastic and we would have no hesitation in recommending it. We hope to return sometime.
One tip - do try the gelati at Flora's which is next door. You will not be disappointed!

Took us a while to get here fromViareggio, but worth it, great hotel. rooms well equipped. great view, gr8 location, breakfast very good, even champagne served some mornings.
